Field Trip Fridays: Recap

So i’m really behind on our NYC adventure posts. Sorry, we’ve been to busy having fun! Here’s a quick recap of where we’ve been lately:

We went to the Washington Square Park playground a few weeks ago with some friends:

Simon hanging out with baby Eden at Washington Square Park:

On the way home we made a slight detour to try out Georgetown Cupcakes in SoHo. And i’m glad we did, so so good!

Next we explored the newly renovated  Neufeld playground, also called  ”The Elephant Playground” in Riverside Park:

Arguably the cutest baby boy ever. I mean look at that toothy grin.

On the way home we stopped at Levain Bakery for the most delicious cookies ever! My favorite is the dark chocolate peanut butter chip.

We continued our exploration of Riverside Park and visited the River Run playground the following week:

We fell in love with this one. We will definitely be back. Violet was really excited about the teeter totters :)

Even her friend Alpha’s doll Hannah joined in on the fun:

And of course no adventure would be complete without a stop for something sweet right? So we made a trip to Momofuku Milk Bar and picked up these delicious treats:

Crack Pie…yummmm! Possibly the 8th wonder of the world. It’s similar to pecan pie filling, without the pecans but more delicious. Can you imagine? I know.

See, even Violet agrees.

So that’s what we’ve been up to lately. Summer in the city is the greatest! If you can stand the heat, there is fun to be had for all. Hope everyone is enjoying it as much as we are!
